You can’t buy these in Ireland. In fact, you will pay DEARLY for most American food in this country. I’m talking 4EUR for a bag of Goldfish crackers.
As luck would have it, my cousin and fellow food-blogger Mayda sent these over. Mayda and I agree on a lot of things, but this is where we differ, as she does not approve of the fruit + chocolate equation.
I love fruit and chocolate and if I wasn’t able to get it prepackaged that way, I’d probably be mixing it myself in my mouth.
I don’t want to argue about this, but I generally do not like Oreos. I don’t like the cream-filling. I have nothing against artificial cream filling, but this one doesn’t do anything for me.
Enter, Berry Burst Ice Cream Oreos. I discovered these first a few years ago, probably when they first hit the shelves, as I am generally wont to buy anything that is new and junk food.
The berry adds an essential bite to an otherwise bland an underwhelming filling. These are good.
Would I buy them again? Yes, provided that I am not responsible for eating the whole package.
Did you eat the whole package? Actually, no. As much as I like these, I can’t eat huge amounts of them.
I would recommend them to a friend, but not Mayda, because she doesn’t like that stuff.
Other great fruit + chocolate combos:
Chocolate-covered Strawberry Licorice (I’m obsessed), Chocolate Orange Jellys, Black Forest Chocolate Cake, Raisinets, that thing where I mix a bunch of candy in my mouth at the same time…
