Question: remember? I explained a bit of my deal with Oreos in my earlier post with Watermelon Oreos. Fruit and most things should be separate BUT equal. However, let’s try this. Caramel is good. I love it. Paired with apple is ok and understandable but not something I would usually do. Then team that up with an Oreo, I don’t think so. My initial plan goes as follows: take a sniff, take a nibble, throw it away.
In actuality, I open it up. First questions? Why green? Why brown? Why mostly brown? I I tasted the frosting first. There was kind of a ping pong taste of caramel and apple. Which one was going to land more prominent? It was kind of more apple-ish to me which I didn’t really care for. I would have liked more caramel, but I could still get some notes. In taking a full bite, I thought the cookie part really helped tame the tarty sweetness, but did not help me like the product more.
Did I eat the whole cookie? No
Would I buy it again? No
Would I eat more than one? Not even one
Do I recommend it? No
Thanks for reading!
