Tha Kimtalian Reviews: Lean Cuisines Mezzaluna Mushroom Ravioli
Target made me do this. Target. You all know what happens. Somehow this “deal” ended up in my basket then into my kitchen. Why? How? Lean Cuisine’s Mezzaluna Mushroom Ravioli. What the heck does Mezzaluna mean? I am not even going to google that shizzzzzzz. I am too frustrated with myself for getting this already, but what the hell I will review it like a good reviewer person girl.
Angrily, I rip open the packaging and throw it in the microwave (obeying the directions). 2.5 minutes covered then stir then another 2 min. That is not long, but with my patience I was tapping my toes believe you me.
Ok Here we go. I calmed myself down because I needed to taste this damn thing properly. At first glance, it looked ok. I liked the fact that it had spinach. I LOOOOOVE cooked spinach. Good thing. The sauce was abundant. It definitely tasted like cream of mushroom soup which was not too bad actually. Everything was kind of drowning in it though. It was like when you used to barry your aunt in the sand. Kind of over kill. There was also red peppers. They were crunchy which I don’t like, but maybe others would enjoy. The ravioli tasted pretty generic. I did however like the filling. It had finely chopped mushrooms and probably ricotta or something. It had a pleasant flavor. I actually wanted to just eat the filling.
For me, I think the meal was just not my thing. I think that others might enjoy the creaminess of it all. Not me though. I do love mushrooms though.
The round up:
Would I buy this again? No
Did I finish it? All but the peppers.
Would I recommend this? Probably not depending on the circumstances
