I got steamed!
There are a few reasons I go to the gym:
1. I can watch cable TV and my embarrassingly bad shows
2. I get to pump my “huge gunzzz” to be able to review these terrible snacks FOR YOU!
3. there is some eye candy
4. I feel really good AFTER (not during)
5. I GET TO STEAM IN THE SAUNA!!!
Oh mylanta, I love the sauna. 10-20 minutes in the sauna gets me through these harsh winters in Minnesota. I can actually walk outside in zero degree weather after a long sweat in he hotbox. Man, does it feel wonderful on the muscles too. There might be weirdos and funny/naked/old people sometimes, but I would rather feel good for the rest of the day.
Last night I went to my gym. Did my things on the machine things. Watched my things on the TV screens. Hopped in the box for a good steam. Walked outside in below four degrees feeling “so fresh and so clean clean”. Knaw what-a-mean mean? “Feelin’ good, feelin’ great how are you?” Well, my happy mind told me to get something healthy and budget friendly for some nosh. Oh look! It’s Target! Oh look, it’s me going into Target. (No surprise) Let’s keep this “healthy” feeling rolling with a “Healthy Choice”! Sorry hot pockets.
What did we get? Healthy Choice Chicken Margharita. After all I AM the Kimtalian.
The meal has chicken breasts (so we are told), pasta, roasted garlic and tomatoes in a balsamic marinara sauce. Sounds pretty good right? I nuke it like I am told and mix it like I am told.
First I tried the ingredients without the sauce just to see if things were seasoned. The angel hair pasta actually had some flavor. There was seasoning on the noodles which was pretty good BUT the noodles were over so overcooked. No bite whatsoever. Disapointing. The chicken was lightly salted but almost moo shy. The tomatoes were a sad, sad flatness. Well, maybe the sauce would save this meal?
All mixed up, the bowl was super sweet with hints of vinegar. It almost tasted like generic teriyaki, not really balsamic at all. It made me feel weird for some odd reason. I felt like I was being tricked or something. Betrayal!!! This “Top Chef” brand did not make me feel healthy. On top of that, it made me feel like I CHOSE this meal hence “healthy CHOICE”. Blame it on me will you? Not again!
(I shoulda gotten the hot pocket!)
The round up:
Would I buy this again? NO WAY
Did I finish this? Not even half
Would I recommend it? NO!
