Growing up, I didn’t know a grade school kid who did NOT like spaghetti-os or had to say “Uh-Oh Spaghetti-os” after every dumb accident.I mean, everyone thought they wanted to be Mary-Kate and Ashley Olson right? NOT MY BROWN ASS! Hell to tha NO Not this Spaghetti-Hough! I hated that stuff. To me, anything Chef Boyardee tasted like ketchup and glue souping soft circled noodles. I gagged at the smell of it which made parents think I was a picky eater. Believe me, I was dry heaving with one whiff.
Fast forward to now, “adulthood”. When I see the description of anything “pizza”, I am a little intrigued. I don’t know what it was about the day, but I decided to do all parents a favor and try this Chef Boyardee Pizza Twist cup. (I needed prayers.)
Opened it. The smell, (not so bad) tomato, oregano and basil. The look, bold brick red, thick and soupy.
My heart was racing… minutes later…
Nothing looked different. But there are small squares of pepperonis which give the taste some spice and mainly salt. The sauce was not that sweet but tasted of mainly salt as opposed to seasonings. The “twists” were small and thick, but extremely soft. Um…. yyyyyyyyyeah… focus.
The round up:
(thank god this was cheap and easy to make)
Would I recommend it? No, not even for kids or busy parents
Would I buy it again? Ah, NOOO
Did I finish it? One bite I was done!
Rating: 1 (gag)
