Arby’s Guy-Row? Year-Rah? Jy-Ree? Whatever it belongs in the Arby Family.
I am definitely not versed in Halal or middle eastern foods, so this is based on a bland, ignorant, racist palate. Yes, my taste buds are racist sometimes. Muy triste, but… I will try things. Gimme that at least.
For the first time, I am trying a gyro (I say it ‘year-row’) from the worst place for a first-timer, Arby’s. That was like a rap line WHUT! Ajyeah put your hands up bitties!!!
Anyway, the gyro is pretty big. There is an abundant amount of Arby’s roast beef. The ‘which has 2 decent tomatoes, pretty fresh too, 2 red onion slivers (not enough for me), sliced lettuce (a plus), with some ttzzzatazzzaakki sauce with pepper presented nicely. I don’t know what good tzatziki (whatever it is called) tastes like, but I am sure at an authentic place like Holy Land or Crescent Moon, you can find the real deal. At any rate, the sauce had a nice creamy dilly sweet flavor. It was not over powering at all, but was more abundant on the fold of the pita. Again, that was ok with me. I like messy, wet sandwiches.
All in all I was pleased that I tried it. I am going to go to a real authentic place the next time though. IF anyone has any suggestions please tell me. Help educate my pathetic tongue!!
The Round Up:
Did I finish it? YES!
Would I buy it again? Maybe, if I was in the mood.
Would I recommend it? Sure
Thanks for reading!
