Chili’s Bar & Grill New Smokey Wings
I am a wing slut. I prefer bone-in wing as opposed to crummies. I like the blade. I do not break the bone. Some people have a certain strategy to bone-in wings. I do the sides first then poke the meat through the bones. Make sense? Then you clean that thing until there is nothing left, NOTHING! One of my pet peeves (really not really) is when people don’t clean the bone. Don’t leave the skin, please. That is the best part at least. I don’t mean to tell you how to do things, but if you are one of those people, give me those parts you don’t want. I will take care of it. Thanks!
Anyway, Chili’s new wings are to be examined this time. I was a little scared to try these because I had some bad luck with chain restaurant wings lately. Applebee’s has really dried out small wings. Dominoes has teeny tiny sadly baked wings. Pizza hut’s fried wings are actually pretty good. I have not lost hope and don’t really ever do when it comes to wings.
I have to say, I liked these chicken wings. The smoke factor was there with CILANTRO! The soapiness of cilantro is understandable to me, but I enjoy the taste. NO, I DONT EAT SOAP! (I am yelling) These wings were fairly meaty and moist. Some of the drummies were a little dry and lacked the juicy skin you get at the smaller end of the bone which I love. The blades were a flavorful fatty yum! Good looking Chilis!
The round up:
Did I finish it? Yes mama
Would I buy it again? YES mama
Recommend it? Maybe, because there are some other tasty items
